We held our High Tea at Sergeants Mess in Mosman and held a wonderful picnic for all current and past families for World Prematurity Day at Victoria Park Playground
2018
Little Wonders, Tiny StarsWe fund the Little Star Beads program which offers children little rewards for their medical procedures in the form of unique beads. The beads are strung together to create a string of beads that will tell the story of each child’s personal, medical journey.
We launch our Employee of the month Award whereby we acknowledge a staff member that is making a difference in the same spirit as that of Little Wonder. We are proud to sponsor this award and congratulate the worthy recipients
2019
10-year AnniversaryWe purchased 4 Continuous positive airway pressure machines (CPAP) - over $25,000 in value, something we are very proud of.
Our annual high tea is bigger than ever this year as we bring it back to the heart of the inner west. Our Facebook following has grown to 1,600.
Our Scented Heart Program was launched in May. Scent Hearts are given to mother’s whose newborn infants have been admitted to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. The fabric heart is worn against the mother’s skin so that the fabric absorbs the scent of the parents. The heart is placed with the baby in the isolette or crib so the mother is always with her child
